This Charity CD was recorded by Prof. Dr. Reinhardt Menger and CClaus-Erhard Heinrich in order to raise money to enable restoration of the remaining 16 stops. Prof. Dr. Reinhardt Menger
|
Prof. Dr. Reinhard Menger is a prestigious Professor from the "Hochschule f?ik und darstellende Kunst" (University of Music and Interpretative Arts) in Frankfurt-on-Main, where he lectures in organ playing, organ building, and the servicing of instruments. Alongside this and his role as Organ expert of the EKHN, he gives recitals, makes recordings for radio, and keeps historical organs in working condition. Prof. Dr. Reinhard Menger was born in 1936 in Wernigerode in the Harz region. He completed a variety of Church Music courses in Halle (Saale), Weimar and Frankfurt-on-Main; studied Musicology, German language and literature, and Folklore; and learnt to play the Carillon in Amersfoort, Holland.

Claus-Erhard Heinrich
|
Claus-Erhard Heinrich was born in 1960 in Frankfurt-on-Main. After studying Church Music, Piano, and Conducting in Frankfurt-on-Main, he took up places as a R?titeur and Bandmaster at the Stadttheather in Regensburg and also at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim. Since 1997, he has been a Choral Scholar in the Cathedral, and Director of Church Music Seminars in Halberstadt. Apart from composition, his speciality is improvisation during Organ concerts.
